Cinnamon Christmas Biscuits

If you want to find out how to make these super cute delicious biscuits then continue reading!

You will need:

  • 150g Self Raising Flour
  • 150g Plain Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons of Ground Cinnamon
  • 125g Butter
  • 100g Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg

Step 1: Preheat oven to 160 degrees, 140 degrees (fan assisted), gas mark 3

Step 2: Sift the flours and cinnamon into a large bowl

Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix butter and sugar until smooth and add the egg

Step 4: Mix the two bowls of mixtures together and mix together I found I had to add a little bit of almond milk to help mix the ingredients together. It also help to mix it with your hands instead of a spoon.

Step 5: Lift the dough onto a lightly floured board and roll out. You can then cut out the shapes of the biscuits you want. I used christmas themed cutters but you can used whatever shapes you like.

Step 6: Once all the shapes are cut out, add them to baking trays covered in baking paper. You can ten put these into the oven for 10-15 minutes. I made my biscuits quite thick so I left them in the oven for the full 15 minutes

Step 7: Leave the biscuits to cool, once cooled you can then decorate them with writing icing, Enjoy!
