Makeup Revolution VS Collection – Pale Concealers
I always struggle to find concealers which are pale enough for my skin and when I saw that Makeup Revolution and Collection had brought out lighter concealers I was intrigued to try them. And as they are both very popular at the moment and I have been seeing them all over social media, what better way to show you them then to compare them in one post together.
Designed like the rest of the range, the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer comes in a clear tube with a black lid. And on the clear portion of the tube is the name of the product and also on the lid the words ‘New Shade’ are visible in white. The long thin container makes it easy to transport and pop into your makeup bag for everyday use on the go as it doesn’t take up much space – about as much as a liquid lipstick.
However, in a smaller but wider package, is the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define. Similar to the Collection, this concealer is stored in a clear tube with the product’s name adorned to the outer casing. A rose metallic colour has been chosen for the lid of this concealer which makes is look more aesthetically pleasing.
Cost wise they are pretty similar at £4 for the Makeup Revolution and £4.19 for Collection. However, you get much more product (2.2ml) in the Lasting Perfection concealer.
Left – Collection, Right – Makeup Revolution
The Conceal and Define goes on rather thick and blends out nicely. And after a long day iy still was covering my dark circles but not as intensely as when I first put it on.
Also, the coverage of the Lasting Perfection was really good. However, I found that by the end of the day it started to look rather cakey and dry on my under eyes.
Colour wise they are both pretty similar, although the Collection concealer is so yellow. But, it really brightens my undereyes!
